Forgiveness - summer

My eyes have now cleared,
my mind flows free,
now that the poison is syphoned from me.
Some was injected and some I chose
but the giver of Grace
from True freedom arose!
Not as the world gives its peace,
my control was crushing,
yet with You it's released!
I was taught in my flesh
that I had to deal
but it’s you who will take it -
that alone is how I heal.
Time made no difference
and methods proved wrong,
only God holds the goodness
whereby we move on.
