Imagining the Infinite - summer

It's going to be okay

because of who He is.

Terrors will disperse

troubles of life reverse

and become who He is.

Love with power

showers

without and within.

Faith beholds His brilliance,

elated at such Love.

Grace is now gratefulness,

forgiveness is fulfilled

completed by the Holy will

of who He is.

Cloaked and covered,

spirits are restored.

With love He enfolds

with passion, our souls

by who He is. 

"And God raised us up with Christ and seated us with him in the heavenly realms in Christ Jesus, in order that in the coming ages he might show the incomparable riches of his grace, expressed in his kindness to us in Christ Jesus." Ephesians 2:6-7

Poem for Serenity - summer

Last evening I lay

and the light of the setting sun

shone full on my face.

It found me wanting - 

a soul ready to receive,

grateful in response to its warmth

and strength,

basking in the thought

I'd been sought

by a higher power.

This is also with God who seeks

all souls to be saved,

not with pain but with peace.

As atmosphere turns

the searing power of distant light

into a comforting presence,

so the Lord of might

is transformed by His Spirit -

onto us He alights!

His assurance within,

sure as sunshine falls around,

brings serenity to grateful souls

like no other to be found.  

 

Today I'm a Butterfly...

Today I'm a butterfly

all sunshine and shade,

light as a cloud

floating where I may.

The field is my freedom,

my forage is play,

I dance on flowers faces

as time has no say.

There exists only now,

I'll rise and I'll rest

with tranquilities wings

as one who is blessed.
