There's a place in each life
where light and shadow fall,
that gives credence to the very fact
that we are here at all;
there's the perfect One who made us;
and the evil one in our ear,
whispering all the myths and lies
that human beings hear;
while God is holding out His hand
to bring us back where we belong,
there Light will ever shine as day
and shadows be forever gone.
