The sun has never changed its trajectory
as it shines in its mercy on me.
From the moment I first opened my eyes
until the moment when my soul will arise
through all that's transpired
I've transitioned.
Faces and scenery have changed,
whom I love and who loves me are all rearranged
with how I've felt
and with whom I've dealt
I've trasitioned.
Life here is a transitory state
and a thousand things with which to relate
to surive
I've kept alive
the transition
of myself
with God as my guide
unwavering as the sunshine.
I'll return once again
to Him who sends
after I once more transition
with a lifelong tale
of how I'm so vulnerable
and how He never fails,
I find a peace that had long since eluded
so have now concluded
that His power alone
brings us through,
Lord, my longing is to transition
to You.
